Colorado Skydiver Jake Todd Dies: A family in Colorado is deep in sorrow over the passing of Jake Todd, a cherished father, sibling, and son who also participated in skydiving. Sadly, he perished in a parachute malfunction-related skydiving disaster in Texas on October 15.

Dave said, “They have a zest for life, they have a zest for adventure and he was one of those people. “The guy was not only my son, but my best friend.”
His son is nearly at 100 leaps this year, according to Dave. “He was cognizant of the fact that my apprehension towards the risk meant I didn’t necessarily enjoy it, but I also recognized the joy it brought into his existence,” Dave explained.

Jake has left his mom, dad, three brothers and sisters, and his 9-year-old daughter named Jeune. Bryan Todd, Jake’s brother, said, “He and his daughter were just really something special together. They really knew how to light up a room.”
Bryan stated that this type of vitality is irreplaceable. He expressed that Jake had likely imparted to him the value of compassion. Jake embodied the type of individual who would gladly lend you the last of his belongings or even the clothing on his back if you were in need of it.

Jake always enjoyed life and followed his father’s advice to live with a joyful spirit. Dave said, “Whether it was time, money, an ear or an opinion, you could count on the guy.”
In support of Jake’s daughter Jeune and to assist with expenses, a GoFundMe page has been established. Dave stated, “Jake wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of Colorado; I will miss him dearly, but I am incredibly proud of him.” I am certain of my determination to ensure that his legacy endures for the benefit of my daughter and the remaining members of my family.”
