Denise Russo’s Cause Of Death: The cause of Denise Russo’s death has been determined following her passing earlier this year.
In March, the 44-year-old celebrity was discovered unconscious at a friend’s residence in San Diego. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, she was subsequently declared deceased.
The cause of Russo’s death was determined to be an accidental ingestion of fentanyl and methamphetamine following a police investigation. The discovery of drug paraphernalia at the scene supports this conclusion.
Russo died from the effects of meth and fentanyl, as confirmed by the San Diego County Medical Examiner. Despite aggressive resuscitation efforts, Russo was unable to be revived.
Susie Stenberg, Russo’s co-star and close friend, disclosed earlier this year that Russo was living in her vehicle and was homeless at the time of her death.
Stenberg described her as a loving and devoted individual, recalling that Russo called her the night before she passed away to express her affection.
Fans of the 2011 reality television programme The X-Life will recall Russo’s appearance. The programme focused on the relationships between extreme athletes. Throughout the series, Russo had a romantic relationship with Canadian professional skater Pierre-Luc Gagnon.
They separated in the season finale but subsequently reconciled and have a seven-year-old son named Leo Wolf.
Russo posted a moving tribute to her son on Instagram, conveying her love and gratitude for him being the centre of her world.
