Deoghar admin deploys doctors, para medicos for Kanwariyas’ healthcare

A total of 31 health camps have been set up in the entire Mela area. Every camp has been provided with the medicine and first-aid kits.

In a move to keep the health of devotees (Kanwariyas) in check at the Shrawani Mela, the Deoghar administration has deployed teams of one doctor and three health workers around the clock in three shifts.

According to information, over 50,000 pilgrims have been assisted and given treatment in different camps so far.

Apart from these facilities, special concerns of women and young girls are being addressed by providing them with sanitary napkins in their hour of need.

This is the first time when such an arrangement has been made for women during the Shrawani Mela.
