Dr Pepper Ice Cream
Dr Pepper Ice Cream: The companies Dr Pepper and Blue Bell have merged forces. The two companies will collaborate on a new ice cream flavour dubbed Dr Pepper Float, it was revealed.
The companies announced the new product in a joint press release on Thursday, describing it as “Blue Bell vanilla ice cream swirled with Dr Pepper-flavored sherbet.” According to the companies, the new flavour is now available in all 23 states where Blue Bell is sold.
Jimmy Lawhorn, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell, stated that Dr. Pepper poured over two scoops of Blue Bell ice cream produces the finest floats. Why not create our own version of this popular dessert?”
The Texas-based companies have announced that the pint and half-gallon sizes of Dr Pepper Float will continue to be available until 2024.
Not for the first time has a unique ice cream pairing gone viral. To commemorate National Ranch Day, Hidden Valley Ranch and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream introduced a ranch-flavored ice cream in March.
