The departure of Evan has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. This tribute honors the memory of Evan Robinson by highlighting the dynamic and generous individual he was.
At the time of publication, there was no known cause of death for Evan Robinson, so his passing came as a surprise to those who knew him. While the circumstances surrounding Evan’s passing are unknown, we have chosen to remember him for the joy he brought to our lives and for being a remarkable young man.
Paul Robinson and Nancy Obels gave birth to their son Evan in Dallas on May 18, 2005. His mother and older sibling Liam live with him in Plano, Texas. Evan graduated from Plano West High School in 2023, and in 2027 he began a new chapter in his life as a student at the University of North Texas. His intended major was sports management with a concentration in distribution and logistics.
Evan Robinson was not only a student, but also a devoted sports aficionado and community member. His passion for basketball lead to a varied career path. In addition to being a basketball scorekeeper, Evan was a well-known PSA official and trainer.
Additionally, he served as a supervisor at the McKinney Recreation Center, demonstrating his commitment to the athletics arena. His expertise and dedication made him an invaluable North Texas Basketball Officials Association member.
Evan’s dedication to his academics paralleled his devotion to his community. His local career prospects made it easy for him to reconcile work and school, demonstrating his responsible and determined nature.
Evan was commended at the Red Lobster in Frisco, where he briefly worked, for his outstanding work ethic, extraordinary customer service skills, and unwavering commitment to providing high-quality service.
Evan Robinson was a young man with ambition. Whether it was using his MacBook Air for college and business objectives or creating PowerPoint presentations to train new referees, he eagerly anticipated the upcoming opportunities.
