Fatal Shooting Claims Life of 34-Year-Old Man in Orange County: On the morning of July 6, 2023, a 34-year-old male was discovered shot to death at an apartment complex in Orange County. At approximately 3 a.m., a gunshot occurred at the Palmetto at Lakeside apartments on Rio Grande Avenue off Holden Avenue.
The victim, identified as Jamel Tyrone Brown, was discovered by responding deputies suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared deceased at the site. Investigators believe Brown was shot multiple times, but the motive remains unknown.
