Gypsy Rose’s Crime and the Duration of Her Incarceration

The American woman was jailed for her part in the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. The case got national news because of how it was set up.

Gypsy Rose’s Crime: Teenage Gypsy Rose Blanchard was freed from jail after eight years for helping to plan the murder of her mother.

The American woman was jailed for her part in the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. The case got national news because of how it was set up.

After serving most of her term, she was let out of the Chillicothe Correctional Center at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday and was no longer in jail.

Blanchard spent eight years in jail for what happened in Springfield, Missouri, in June 2015. She has talked at length about what happened and how she and her boyfriend at the time, Nick Godejohn, planned to kill her mother.

She has chosen to tell everyone what happened, including why she planned to kill her mother and whether she feels bad about it now that she is 32 years old.

What did Gypsy Rose Blanchard do wrong?

He was found guilty of murder in the second degree and given a 10-year jail term. She is said to have been planning her payback for years after Gypsy’s mom put her through medical treatments she didn’t need.

This point was made in court, and many people now think that Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen by proxy, which is a rare form of abuse in which a child’s guardian makes them sick to get pity and attention.

Before she was forced to have yet another surgery that she didn’t need, Gypsy says she was being abused physically and mentally at the time of Dee Dee’s death. When she finally lost it, she asked Godejohn to kill her mother. She said he agreed, and she watched him kill her in the bathroom of the family home.

Godejohn is serving a life term for the murder of Dee Dee. He says he would kill again to protect his ex-girlfriend. Gypsy does say, though, that she “regrets” what happened that killed her mother.

“I will never say I’m glad she’s dead or proud of what I did.” “Every day I feel bad about what I did,” she told PEOPLE Magazine.
