iOS 17 Release: What’s New!

iOS 17 Release Date: At WWDC 2023 in June, Apple debuted iOS 17, their newest iOS. After testing it with beta versions, the release date of iOS 17’s stable version has been revealed.

This announcement was made at the ‘Wonderlust’ event where the iPhone 15 was introduced. Below, we’ll learn more about it.

Apple announced on September 18 that iOS 17 would be available for distribution. This update was free for compatible iPhones.

They have added ‘NameDrop,’ an extension of AirDrop that allows two iPhones to share contact information when they are near together.

The Phone app now includes Contact Posters, which are similar to customized calling cards for various callers. iOS 17 also includes the dormancy feature, which transforms the display of the iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro into a smart display when the Always-On Display mode is in dormancy.
