Jamie Reid, an artist most known for designing the memorable album covers for the Sex Pistols, has passed away at the age of 76. During the 1970s in the United Kingdom, punk band God Save the Queen commissioned Reid to design the album art for their albums, including Anarchy and other songs.

In the month of January 1947, Reid was born in the area of Croydon, which is located in south London. After that, he furthered his education by attending the Croydon and Wimbledon Art Schools respectively. It was in Croydon that he made his initial connection with Malcolm McLaren, manager of the Sx Pistols, and began his involvement with the band.
