Jarvis Eastlick Obituary: Saturday afternoon in rural Grant County, a man from Lancaster was slain when he lost control of his UTV and became pinned beneath it. On Sunday, during a multinational training exercise off the coast of Australia, a U.S. Marine Corps aircraft carrying personnel collided, resulting in three fatalities and twenty injuries.

Jarvis Eastlick, 47, was killed around 5 p.m. on Saturday when he lost control of his UTV while attempting to navigate around a curve on Oak Road in Paris, according to a statement by Sheriff Nate Dreckman. Dreckman stated that after Eastlick’s UTV entered a ravine and flipped multiple times, it landed on top of him.

The autopsy confirmed that Eastlick had died. The collision is being investigated by the Wisconsin DNR.
