Jason Sudeikis & Olivia Wilde’s Custody Battle: Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have resolved their contentious custody dispute. In November 2020, the 48-year-old “Ted Lasso” actor and the 39-year-old “Don’t Worry Darling” director, with whom he shares children Otis, 9, and Daisy, 6, ended their relationship. This sparked a protracted legal dispute about child support and where the children should live.

Jason has now agreed to pay his ex $27,500 a month in support for their two children, who will split their time between their parents, according to new court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

This agreement, which comes nearly two years after the former couple first engaged in litigation, is reportedly based on Jason Sudeikis’s projected 2023 income of $10.5 million and Olivia’s projected 2023 income of $500,000 per year.

According to court documents, “The parties agree that child support for the minor children in the amount of $27,500 per month is sufficient to maintain the needs of the minor children considering Jason’s station in life…is consistent with each child’s best interest, and application of the guideline would be unjust or inappropriate in this case,” according to The Mail.

Otis and Daisy will have joint custody on a “week-on, week-off basis” arrangement that Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have agreed upon.

The children are anticipated to spend equal amounts of time in New York and Los Angeles.

Jason filed a motion to stop an order from California that stated their children should reside in the state during the legal battle.

Olivia further claimed that despite his “superior” income, he had neglected to pay her child support.

Following her breakup with Jason, the actress and director began seeing Harry Styles, a former member of One Direction, who is currently single.

As part of her legal dispute with the actor, she was infamously served court documents while she was speaking on stage at CinemaCon in April 2022.

Page Six was informed at the time by a source that the actress was horrified, adding, “It seemed unthinkable to her, and it took a moment to set in, but as mortifying as it was, she did not want to give a reaction.”

The Divorce

The two, who previously appeared to be at odds, have since put on a united face and were recently seen supporting their son Otis at a soccer game. The ex-spouses were also seen hugging and high-fiving.

The ex-couple got engaged in January 2013 after beginning their relationship in November 2011.

Jason Sudeikis told The Observer newspaper, “I don’t think it’s the ending of something, as much as now we’ve added three or four charms to the bracelet of our lives.” He said that he doesn’t see his breakup from Olivia as the end of their relationship.

Until he was faced with definite death, Jason said he would always have the same upbeat view as his US college football coach character in “Ted Lasso.”

He said: “I have no reason not to be as optimistic as the character I’ve been lucky enough to portray for the last three years until I’m faced with being on a plane that’s supposed to go down, or some biopsy brings back some bad news, or some other major shift happens in my life or someone close to me. I have no issues. Leave that to the professionals.
