When Vandergrift edited a social media post before vanishing to thank followers for a ‘great existence,’ a number of people expressed concerns about his mental health.
As a consequence of the suicide attempt, he may have struggled with numerous mental issues, according to speculation.
Previously, he had described his mysterious psychological issues, which were causing him intolerable agony.

JV discussed how medical personnel attempted to diagnose and treat his health issues in his final radio broadcast.
According to his doctors, something may have’reawakened’ his previous infections, the radio personality continued.
JV also stated that he could never explain to us what the condition is doing to his mind, and he explained that his doctors had recently recommended risky surgery or experimental drugs.
He may have suffered from Lyme disease, which is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and, infrequently, Borrelia mayonii, according to some sources.
In light of the fact that the SFPD and JV’s wife, Natasha Yi, are currently investigating the precise cause of his disappearance, the facts surrounding his disappearance have yet to be disclosed.
The well-known radio personality was born on March 16, 1968 in California, United States.
Prior to his disappearance, he resided in San Francisco with his lovely wife, Natasha Yi, and his family.
In 1993, he joined iHeart Media and began hosting “The Dog House,” a community-favorite comedy talk show.
Natasha Yi, a former Playboy model, married the well-known radio presenter in 2007; as a result, the couple collaborated on a number of radio programmes.
Vandergrift relished his work, and his 2023 Wild94.9 morning show was a success. He used it to reveal everything about his life, including his neurological disease, to his audience.
