John Castic’s cause of death was revealed: A Goldman Sachs senior analyst whose body was discovered in a watercourse days after he went missing drowned, according to his father.
The 27-year-old was reported missing after he was last seen departing the Brooklyn Mirage nightclub around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, following a Zeds Dead performance.
His father, Jeffrey, informed The New York Post that John drowned.
It is unknown how he came to be in the water.
His relatives do not suspect foul play in connection with his demise.

A spokeswoman for the medical examiners stated, “The final determination is pending the results of toxicology testing.”
Jeffrey informed the Daily Mail earlier this week that John may have died from an allergy to peanuts.
He stated, “We believe he had an allergic reaction – he was allergic to peanuts and may have eaten something containing peanuts without realizing it – or there was an undetected allergy combined with alcohol.”
Jeffrey told Fox News that his son was a “bright, charismatic, caring, and hardworking young man.”
John’s remains were recovered from the water when a man spotted a shirtless body floating in the English Kills section of Newtown Creek – less than a half-mile from the location where he was last seen.
The Goldman Sachs employee carried his mobile phone and wallet.
John reportedly told his friends at the venue that he would take an Uber to his Lower East Side condominium in Manhattan, but he never arrived.
His friend, Jonah Shales, reported to Fox News that Castic’s phone died after he departed the club.
Shales reported at the time that he had no contact with anyone.
Before departing the concert, John reportedly informed his friends that he felt ill, per Jeffrey’s report in the Daily Mail.
The night John disappeared, surveillance footage obtained by WPIX showed him wearing a floral shirt and pants and strolling near a pizza vending truck.
The U.S. Sun sought comment from the Brooklyn Mirage.
According to his LinkedIn profile, John graduated from DePaul University in 2020 and began working as a senior analyst at Goldman Sachs about a year ago.
The CEO of Goldman Sachs, David Solomon, described John as a “dedicated and driven” employee.
He stated, “John will be deeply missed by his Goldman Sachs family.”
John Castic’s cause of death revealed: John’s disappearance occurred just over a month after Karl Clemente disappeared from the same Brooklyn venue and was subsequently discovered deceased in Newtown Creek.
June 11, Clemente and his companions arrived at the Brooklyn Mirage around 9 p.m.
The Daily Mail reported that Clemente was turned away on suspicion that he had been imbibing.
According to the publication, he vanished after visiting a nearby filling station.
Clemente’s body was recovered five days later in a creek behind a lumber warehouse.
The New York Police Department has not established a link between the cases.
