Mr. Day, a cinematographer from New Zealand, and his spouse relocated to Bristol in early January of this year. His demise was described in a statement by his family as a “terrible accident.”

Joseph Day Accident: How did the Joseph Day Bristol Accident Happen?

Avon Coroner’s Court heard a recorded investigation into the death of the 31-year-old this morning, August 4, wherein police were informed of his location when his phone sounded from the base of the gorge.

A rope rescue unit from the Avon Fire and Rescue Service located Mr. Day, a former cinematographer hailing from New Zealand, at a distance of 30 meters below the cliff’s edge, concealed by vegetation.

The autopsy report determined that Mr. Day perished as a result of multiple injuries incurred in a fall; however, no significant toxicological findings were identified. Consequently, their demise can be attributed to the catastrophe that occurred on Joseph Day’s part.

As the coroner’s investigation into Joseph’s death remains ongoing, his family and friends continue to regard his departure as unexplained.
