Some fans thought she was wearing fake lips and started looking for before and after pictures of her.

Despite her changes, Leah Remini’s looks are the same in before and after pictures. It’s the same person despite not looking exactly like the original (though her lips are different).

Possibly she had cosmetic surgery, such as Botox or a lip job, over the years. When I say Botox changes the way you look, I mean fake, especially if you get too many shots.

It’s also well known that she doesn’t like Scientology. But every once in a while, stories about her supposed history with plastic surgery make the news.

As with many store newspaper clichés, she “looks unrecognizable” or “she’s going too far with Botox” is often said about her. The media often use doctors who have never handled Remini to try to guess what treatments she may or may not have had.

It breaks my heart that these useless stories need so much money to be made. First, what other people do doesn’t really matter. That’s not our business; it’s theirs. The truth is that Remini has said she gets Botox, and she doesn’t feel bad about it.

She still hasn’t chosen whether to get plastic surgery or not. A few years ago, Remini responded beautifully when someone on Twitter said her face looked stiff:

She is not trying to hide the fact that she has had Botox shots. One thing she said made me think that maybe she was going to get facial surgery soon. The news media doesn’t care about Remini’s plastic surgery, but they use them to say bad things about the actor.

Any doctor who feels the need to comment on someone’s “attractiveness” in the media, especially newspapers, while giving medical advice is not worth your time. Also, guys who work in the entertainment business are much less likely to be the target of such wild guesses and lies.

What’s going on? There is a clear double standard that needs to be pointed out often. The media wrongly shows women in a bad light when they say they want to age nicely and then scolds them when they say they want to get Botox or a facelift. For women, things are not going to get better.
