What is the cause of his death?
Madison died unexpectedly in Marietta, Georgia, on September 28, 2023, at the age of 32. Madison’s mother, Pamela Jo Scott Argo, passed away before he did. His devoted father, David T. Argo of Alexander City, his sisters Audra (Argo) Kirkpatrick and Amanda Boone, who reside in Alexander City and Yokota Air Base, Japan, respectively, and a large number of devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him.
Whatever he did, Madison was ebullient, active, and enthusiastic. Pam and David Argo gave birth to him in Alexander City, and he attended Benjamin Russell High School, where the wrestling and band programs would have a lasting impact on his life.

Madison continued his musical education at Auburn University, where, in addition to his duties as drum major, he held numerous leadership positions within the Auburn Bands department. Madison cherished every aspect of Auburn, and the friendships he forged there remained with him through multiple transfers and a decade.
He taught graduate courses at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and was a popular director of high school bands in Georgia and Texas. He was a music teacher at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, most recently. Madison had a significant impact on the band community, and the neighborhood mourns the loss of such a music advocate.
During his senior year of high school, Madison discovered his passion for fitness. As a young adult, he pursued this interest by coaching CrossFit and competing in numerous other sporting events. A substantial, close-knit fitness group that he leaves behind will miss him greatly.
Madison was a cheerful, affectionate, and humorous individual. Since he idolized his father, he regularly spoke with him on the telephone and shared Sunday dinners with him. Even under the most challenging circumstances, his trust in Christ kept him moving. Thanks to his firm embraces and belly laughter, everyone in the room felt like the most important person in the room.
Madison jumped at the chance to travel, whether it was to attend a baseball game, visit his sister who was residing abroad, or join the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Great American Marching Band. He spread light and love wherever he went and had a profound affection for his companions.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any local high school band program.
