Magadh University to introduce PG course in IT soon: Report

Magadh University IT course update: Magadh University, Bodh Gaya is all set to start Post Graduate (PG) course in Information and Technology (IT) soon, according to reports.

“Teaching in information technology will be conducted only at the headquarters-based PG centre.Before any expansionary move, it is essential to have quality education at one centre in the field of IT,” Magadh University Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajendra Prasad was quoted saying by The Times of India.

While Magadh University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and distance learning programs to the students,  Major programs offered by the varsity include BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Lib.I.Sc, LLB, B.Ed. At the Postgraduate level, Magadh Unversity offers MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.Lib.I.Sc, LLM, PGDM, and M.Ed programs.

The varsity has receiving online application for undergraduate courses.

Here is what Magadh University UG course admission notification says

Online application for admission in B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com (Session 2020-23) at all the constituent and affiliated colleges under Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya, are invited from all interested and aspiring students who have passed Intermediate (10+2) Examination. Candidates will be charged Rs./- 50 for each application. All necessary information about online application is available at the university website. Application will start from 20-08-2020 and end on 31-08-2020.

Magadh University PG Admission 2020: Important information

Candidates should note that Magadh University provides Post Graduate program in various specializations. The admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. In a bid to take admission in the PG Course, candidates should have 50% marks in graduation in relevant field. However, there is relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.
