In the second season’s episode “Scratches,” she made her acting debut on the drama series. She subsequently worked on the show’s fourth and seventh seasons. In addition to “St. Elsewhere,” she has also appeared in “The Fall Guy” and “Schoooled.”

In the film industry, de Rousse worked as a production assistant on the 2003 drama-comedy “Tiptoes,” starring Gary Oldman, Kate Beckinsale, Patricia Arquette, Matthew McConaughey, and Peter Dinklage.

She played the role of Kathleen in the film. In Steve Rash’s 1981 film “Under the Rainbow,” starring De Rousse as a hotel guest, she made her film debut.

The comedy film is loosely based on the gathering of small individuals auditioning for Munchkin roles in the MGM classic “The Wizard of Oz.” The film is set in 1938 and is based on an event from that year. Alongside Eve Arden and Chevy Chase, the cast also includes Carrie Fisher.
