This comes just weeks after attempted rape and assault charges against the football player were dropped. According to reports, the pregnancy may have been the reason why the charges were dropped.

Through Greenwood’s Instagram post, the couple made their first appearance in public in 2019. Mason and Harriet met at Ashton on Mersey School in Greater Manchester, where they were both high school students.

However, it is unclear when their relationship began. Harriet accused Greenwood of assaulting her in a series of Instagram posts published on January 30, 2022, which are all currently deleted. The post contained audio recordings supporting Harriet Robson.

Later, the striker was suspended from the United Team and arrested by Greater Manchester Police for assaulting and raping a woman.

After more than six months in custody, Greenwood was granted bail with restrictions and conditions on October 19, 2022.

Robson decided to drop the charges, but the court and police department required some time to complete the necessary paperwork.

In February of 2023, charges were dropped against Greenwood. In a statement, he expressed gratitude to his family and friends for their support during difficult times.
