Meghan Markle Divorce: Reason Behind Their Split From Prince Harry

Meghan Markle Divorce: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s public appearance in Santa Barbara, California served as a response to rumours of their impending divorce. The couple was followed by security as they walked together out of the office building.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Separate Legally

The British media is increasingly speculating that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are experiencing a severe financial crisis, a difficult period in their marriage, and possibly a divorce.

They and their family members have not commented publicly on this matter, but media outlets continue to disseminate the word. All of these rumours have circulated because they neglected to recognise their fifth anniversary. The Telegraph reports that their relationship is deteriorating.

Markle’s makeup artist and friend revealed that Harry missed England: “He has definitely found his place and is very settled in California, but he misses home.”

According to Tom Bower, a British journalist and royal family expert, “They have begun to live separate lives, and Meghan is growing tired of Harry.” According to him, Harry has a backup plan for where he will reside if he and the actress break up, and their business setbacks are negatively affecting their relationship.

Harry has apparently booked into a luxurious hotel approximately two hours away from his home. The membership fee to utilise the hotel’s accommodations is $4,000.

The British press has also reported that Markle wants $80 million to sign the divorce papers and wants sole custody of the couple’s two children, fueling these rumours.

On May 19, 2018, Harry and Meghan were united in marriage. The event, held at Windsor Castle, was closely observed by British society, but after only six years it may soon come to an end.

Their 20 million dollar partnership with Spotify ended after only one season of Meghan’s podcast “Archetypes,” so this journey is somewhat disappointing. There are also concerns regarding the longevity of their $100 partnership with Netflix.

The couple is said to have attributed their misfortunes to COVID-19, economic downturns, and the ailments and deaths of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan and Harry announced their intention to step away from their royal duties in January 2020, prior to the global closure caused by the pandemic. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey that broadcast in March 2021, they candidly expressed their displeasure with the royal family.

The following month, Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99. Meghan published her first podcast, “Archetypes,” in August 2022, but the September 2022 death of Queen Elizabeth II overshadowed its popularity.

Controversy Regarding Meghan and Harry

Despite the failure of Meghan and Harry’s Archetypes, Spotify paid the Duchess approximately $18 million. Meghan Markle has also been accused of “faking” interviews for a podcast on Spotify.

According to allegations from within the business, the Duchess allegedly had employees record conversations with guests of Archetypes so that she could incorporate her own voice into the final episodes.

The Duchess of Sussex has been accused by anonymous “sources” in the media industry of having staff members conduct interviews with her visitors prior to the addition of her voice to the final episodes of her now-cancelled Archetypes podcast.

Spotify compensated Meghan Markle with more than $18 million for her podcast “Archetypes.” As the royal couple’s programme Archetypes loses money, Spotify eliminates 200 positions.

The allegations were reported by podcast-focused outlet Podnews and picked up by the Daily Mail days after it was revealed that the Sussexes’ $20 million contract with Spotify had been mutually terminated.

According to Podnews, “multiple sources” have stated that “some interviews on the show were conducted by other staff members, with questions added later.” However, the website does not specify which episodes were potentially affected by this assertion.

There have also been allegations that the podcast transmitted false information about the Covid-19 vaccine, which has sparked controversy. Allegedly, antisemitic and racial remarks were also uttered during the broadcast. According to earlier reports, Spotify paid Harry and Markle $25 million for a lucrative audio arrangement that featured them singing.
