Helmet law for motorcycles
Riders in Nebraska will have to show proof that they’ve finished a motorbike course before they can get out of wearing a helmet. This is because of new rules announced by the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles.
The new law starts on January 1, 2024.
These new laws will go into effect in NY and NJ in 2024
Executive order ends working from home
In November, Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed an order telling state workers who had been working from home during the COVID-19 outbreak to come back to the office.
The order will start on January 2, 2024.
But Nebraska state workers who are in a union are fighting back against Pillen’s order. A group of public employees in Nebraska asked the state to start talking to them about working from home.
