Ned Dubofsky, a 54-year-old insurance industry executive and Great Neck North graduate, passed away last week.Ned Dubofsky passed away in Port Washington, New York, on February 8, 2023, due to a tragic accident.
After graduating from Great Neck North High School in 1987, Dubofsky enrolled and graduated from George Washington University. He had spent his entire existence as a member of Camp Winaukee.
He was the vice president of business development at NFP. BWD Sports and Entertainment, which provides services to sports organisations, owners, and athletes, is owned by NFP. Dubofsky’s funeral was held at Temple Beth Shalom in Roslyn on February 12, where the family shared both happy and sad recollections.
His wife Lindsay stated at his funeral, “Ned was my life.” “He was the wittiest, craziest, most obsessive, determined, magnetic, yet sensitive and considerate individual I have ever met. Ned had such a vast, magical presence that people were instinctively drawn to him.”
According to Lindsay’s eulogy, Ned’s affection for her and their two daughters has always come first. Rabbi Paul Resnick expressed his optimism that the community would continue to support Ned’s family at his funeral, which was attended by a packed temple.
“My first prayer for the family is that this support, this comfort, and this love stays with them tomorrow, next week, next month, and forever, as they will remember Ned every day of their lives,” Rabbi Resnick said at Ned’s funeral. Casey, Charlie, and Lindsay Dubofsky, Ned’s wife, are his surviving offspring.
