Julia Hart, whose previous credits include Miss Stevens, Stargirl, and Fast Colour, will write and direct My Lovely Wife for Netflix. The script will be co-written by Jordan Horowitz, who has previously collaborated with Hart on various projects.
Roy Lee and Miri Yoon for Vertigo and Brian Kavanaugh Jones and Fred Berger for Automatic are the producers of My Lovely Wife. Downing, Sean Berard, and Barbara Poelle serve as the film’s executive producers.
In 2020, Amazon was developing a version of My Lovely Wife. Nicole Kidman would feature in and produce the film through her company Blossom Films. Because this endeavour was never completed, Netflix now owns the rights.
