New Palamu civil surgeon to takeover charge on August 2

Daltonganj: The new Palamu civil surgeon-designate Dr John F Kennedy today gave his ‘yogdaan’ (joining) in the civil surgeon office.

This would be the second innings of Dr Kennedy here as Palamu civil surgeon.

He was transferred from the post of a medical officer in the MMCH to the post of civil surgeon only this Sunday.

Dr Kennedy has replaced the outgoing civil surgeon, Dr Anil Kumar.

H said that he spoke to Dr Anil Kumar this morning for the handover and take over of the charge but Dr Anil Kumar citing a personal reason asked for the procedure to be completed on Tuesday, August 2.

The outgoing civil surgeon Dr Anil Kumar told lagatar24.com that since his father had passed away on a Monday, he tries not to do any new job assignments on Monday. Dr Anil Kumar has been tipped for the additional chief medical officer.
