The Police have interviewed a minimum of 29 witnesses. As part of the investigation, they are scrutinising witness statements and other evidence, such as the speedboat’s GPS data and phone records.

Paiboon “Robert” Treekanchanana and Tanuphat “Por” Lertthaweewit pled guilty to multiple offences, including operating a boat without a legal certificate, possessing an expired licence, being a boat skipper without a legal certificate, and littering in the river.

Wisapat “Sand” Manomairat, Nitat “Job” Kiratisut Sathorn, Itsarin “Gatick” Jutha Suksawat, and Phim “Em” Thamtheerasri, the remaining four suspects, denied all charges brought against them.

Panida, Nida’s mother, was shocked by Por and Robert’s confessions, given their prior denial of all allegations throughout the year-long case.

Sand, Tangmo’s manager, is suing Tangmo’s mother for 40,8 million baht in response to her initial filing of murder charges against him, which were later withdrawn.
