Peso Pluma Death Threats: Peso Pluma, a Mexican musician, had been slated to perform in Tijuana, a border city, in October, but his show has been canceled, his record label revealed on Wednesday. On many banners that appeared on four main roads in Tijuana, the 24-year-old, whose true name is Hassan Kabande, was threatened with death.

Variety reported that Featherweight was the target of billboards telling him not to play in Tijuana because it might be his “last performance,” blaming him for his “disrespectful loose tongue.”

Although no one has come forward to take responsibility for the death threats, supporters think they are related to Pluma’s rising fame in the US and the fact that most of his music deals with Mexico’s drug culture and cartel rule.

Although they have denied involvement, the Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel has requested that the police open an emergency inquiry after their initials were discovered on the banners with death threats.

People are remembering the late Mexican singer Valentin Elizalde Valencia in light of recent developments. Because of their similarity in appearance and musical style, Featherweight fans have not only conjectured that he may be related to Valentin, but have also compared Peso to Valentin.
