Rare Blue Moon 2023: On the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan, the sky was illuminated by a rare Super Blue Moon on the night of Wednesday, August 30th. This uncommon astronomical event occurs when a full moon occurs simultaneously with a blue moon and a perigee moon. Observe the August ‘Super Blue Moon,’ which will not occur again until 2037:
