On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Richard M. Chamberlain, 90, of Elloree, South Carolina, passed away quietly at home. Born in Lodi, Ohio, he grew up in Caro, Michigan, the son of the late Frank and Vera Chamberlain.

Richard was an Air Force veteran who had travelled the world and met his true love, “Anne,” in London, England. The couple raised three children together while he worked as an associate professor teaching computer science and business management at Lorain County Community College and Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio, where he pursued a career in data processing technology.

He enjoyed camping, bowling, and being outside. Before Richard, there was his brother Frank, sister Mary Ann Sangston, and parents Frank and Vera.

In addition to his three children, David Chamberlain (Rose), Julie Kostas, and Connie Ellis (Scott), Richard was predeceased by his close friend Lois Fuller-Johnson. He also left behind thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
