She portrayed the mother of a homicidal infant in ‘It’s Alive’ and starred opposite James Garner and Steve McQueen in the 1969 films ‘Marlowe’ and ‘The Reivers’, respectively.

Sharon Farrell unexpectedly passed away on May 15 from natural causes at an Orange County hospital. This was verified by her son, Chance Boyer, to The Hollywood Reporter. Relatives only recently learned of her demise and posted the news on Facebook, but they did not know the cause.

Farrell is also well-known for his roles in “The Stunt Man,” “Lone Wolf McQuade,” “Marlowe,” and “Can’t Buy Me Love” (1987).

On television, she appeared as Detective Lori Wilson in the final season of the original ‘Hawaii Five-O.’ She portrayed Florence Webster on ‘The Young and the Restless’ from 1991 to 1997.

She made her film début in ‘Kiss Her Goodbye’ in 1959. She later performed on Broadway.

Son Chance, grandson Wayde, and daughter-in-law Mandi are her surviving relatives.
