As reported by the Lincolnton Police Department, the incident transpired outside the business in Lincolnton, North Carolina, approximately 38 miles northwest of Charlotte, after 1 p.m.

According to the police, all six victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital. According to the police report, the offending driver was “an older white male” operating a black midsize SUV equipped with a luggage rack.

The department did not provide any information regarding the accident or why officers suspected it was intentional.
