Terrica was killed while jogging westbound on the north side of CR 6900. Billy Hicks, 68, was driving west on the highway when his automobile collided with hers and unfortunately ended her life.

According to the preliminary investigation, Billy Hicks tried to change lanes to allow another vehicle to pass safely. In this tragic chain of events, Terrica was struck by Hicks’ car’s front right corner.

Terrica Dutton was killed instantly in the collision. While the investigation continues, Terrica’s family has received unwavering support from the local community.
