Amanda was arrested for intoxicated driving in Livonia, Michigan, in July 2021. The police body camera footage revealed that she was sleeping at a red light.

The officers were required to rouse her up and demand that she turn off the vehicle and unlock the door. The video clearly demonstrated that Amanda was in no condition to operate a vehicle.

Officers were required to physically remove her from the vehicle and transport her to a nearby parking lot for a field sobriety test, which she refused.

Amanda was accused with DUI, striking a police vehicle, and refusing a sobriety test.

When questioned about her drinking, Amanda responded, “I started drinking at 3 o’clock tonight,” which only exacerbated the situation.

According to court documents, Amanda’s arrest behaviour was contentious.

During her 30-minute detention, she made numerous impolite remarks to the arresting officers, which exacerbated the situation.

She repeatedly requested an attorney, demonstrating her desperation and anger at her arrest.

Unfortunately, the situation deteriorated when she exploded in the backseat of the vehicle on the way to the hospital for a blood test.

Due to her actions, Amanda was accused with driving under the influence and driving while visually impaired.

The fact that her bail was set at $1,000 indicates the severity of her charges.

She pleaded guilty and was given a six-month community service sentence.
