Todd And Julie Chrisley’s Altered Release Dates: Factors in Sentence Reductions

Todd was given a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie received a seven-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Todd And Julie Chrisley’s Altered Release Dates: In June 2022, reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, known for their program ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud.

They started serving their sentences in January 2023. Todd was given a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie received a seven-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Early Release

Recent reports indicate that both Todd and Julie’s release dates have been altered. Todd’s new parole date is January 22, 2033, which is nearly two years earlier than his original 12-year sentence. The new release date for Julie is October 19, 2028, which is one year and three months earlier than her original release date.

Julie and Todd Chrisley, who were sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison for tax fraud earlier this year, are being released from prison early:

Attorney’s Viewpoint

Jay Surgent, the couple’s counsel, commented on the reductions, stating:

“Without a doubt, Todd and Julie are exemplary prisoners who received lengthy sentences. I believe Todd’s age is now 10 years, and Julie’s is 5.”

In November, new sentencing guidelines are being implemented.

Factors in Sentence Reductions

Various factors, such as excellent conduct and participation in prison programs, frequently result in reduced sentences for inmates.

According to the Bureau of Prisons, eligible federal offenders can receive up to 54 days of “good conduct time” for each year of their sentence.

Family Obligations

Savannah and Chase Chrisley, the children of Todd and Julie, have previously expressed concern regarding their parents’ treatment in prison. Recently, Savannah asserted that prison officers have been turning off the air conditioning and locking the ice machines during warm weather.

She also mentioned suffering retaliation for protesting what she termed “inhumane” conditions. The family is determined to raise awareness and advocate for change despite the obstacles.
