October 20, prior to 11 p.m., an accident transpired on Windy Hill Road, situated in the vicinity of Cobb and Village Parkways. The roads in that vicinity were closed, and the traffic squad of the Smyrna Police is investigating, according to a Facebook post from the department.

The sheriff’s office located the Tesla using a helicopter and discovered that it had collided with a minivan on Kiefer Boulevard. Two individuals were confined within the minivan when Sacramento Fire Department personnel arrived to assist them.

Justin Sylvia from Sacramento Fire explained, “This was a very difficult extrication because the Tesla is down an embankment and the minivan is on top of it. We have to stabilize the minivan before we can even attempt to get to that Tesla. They had to roll the dash to get the people out from under it because their legs were trapped.”

KCRA 3 was informed by Sacramento Fire that both occupants of the van were female. A fatality was reported, while the other individual was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Additionally, the sheriff’s office reported that the driver of the stolen vehicle perished.

According to the coroner’s office, two individuals, Mashea Jordan, 42 years old, and Aphis Nash, 26 years old, perished in the disaster. The Sacramento Police Department will be responsible for conducting an investigation into the collision.
