By living his life with an adventurous spirit and a joyful heart, Troy left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Troy, a proud graduate of Florida International University and member of Phi Gamma Delta, embarked on a transcontinental journey because he was thrilled by the discovery.
His desire for adventure led him to volunteer with AmeriCorps in Alaska, and then to Jinju, South Korea, where he met Laura, the woman he would later marry. Their relationship grew and culminated in a beautiful nuptials in 2016. Before relocating to Florida to be closer to family, they took many travels together, beginning in Minnesota and concluding in California.
In February 2022, they gave the world a priceless gift: their daughter Alice. Troy was a man with numerous talents and interests. He was inspired to pursue his Master of Education at Augsburg College by his efforts to close the achievement disparity in Minnesota schools.
He also pursued his passion for creative writing by earning a credential from San Diego Mesa College. Troy’s published works, which consist of short stories, poetry, and a book, demonstrate his literary ability. The exhibition of his literary works at the Pinellas Art Gallery was the culminating achievement of his career.
His hobbies and interests extended beyond writing. Troy was an ardent runner, swimmer, and swimmer who cherished athletics. He was renowned for introducing others to his passion for microbrews. Despite all of his achievements, Troy’s greatest gratification and delight came from being a loving father and spouse.
He had always been devoted to his family without exception. He took an active role in preparing for Alice’s birth, from establishing the infant registry to setting up the nursery. He provided unwavering support to Laura throughout her pregnancy and delivery.
