Tyler Clayton Obituary

Tyler Collin Clayton, age 47 and a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2023. His untimely passing has caused a great deal of suffering for his family. His loving wife, his family, and his closest friends surrounded him at all times. At this point in time, the circumstances surrounding his untimely passing are unknown.

Tyler was brought into the world on September 1st, 1975, in the town of Saranac Lake, New York, by his parents, Glenda C. Keyes and Raymond Clayton Jr. He was brought up in Columbia, South Carolina, alongside his younger sister Chelsea, and the two of them both went to Brookland Cayce High School throughout their time there.

After graduating from high school in 1994, Tyler relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to attend The Atlanta College of Art in order to pursue his interest in drawing and the visual arts. In college, he fell in love with Lauren Amos, who would later become his life partner and soul mate.

This coming October will mark the beginning of the 16th year of Tyler and Lauren’s marriage. They have a combined 22 years of experience in their relationship. Their sincere devotion for one another was infectious to everyone around them. When you seen them together, it was clear that the love they had for one another was genuine and complete.

Tyler was remarkable in every way. His grin could light up a room, and he would give up anything for the one he cared about the most. He possessed a really kind and attentive demeanour and was highly thoughtful and kind. His capacity to make you feel like you were one of a million and the many people whose lives he touched will be the things that people remember most about him.

Many people in the drifting world know Tyler better as “Revel” due to the fact that he established and owned KoruWorks. The meaning of the word “revel” is “to become absorbed in, devoted to, or fanatical about,” and Tyler exemplified this definition well.

He devoted his full attention and mental capacity to both KoruWorks and the development of vehicles. His store, KoruWorks, was a reflection of his passion for brilliant colours, Japanese culture, and drifting, all of which he enjoyed immensely. In the years 2020 and 2023, an article about Tyler appeared in Super Street Magazine.

In 2018, tragically, a diagnosis of lung cancer was made regarding Tyler. In his fight against cancer, he did not show any sign of weakness. He was a warrior who was resolute about not quitting under any circumstances. Every day, we will think of him and miss him, but we have faith that we will be reunited with him in paradise.

His selfless nature, infectious grin, and unwavering dedication to Lauren, his soulmate, as well as his family and friends, will be the things that people remember most about him.

His loyal wife Lauren Amos, his mother Glenda Keyes, his sister Chelsea Bell (Jason), his nieces and nephews EllyAnn, Edith, and John, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends, will carry on his legacy after he has passed away. His father, Raymond Clayton Jr., had passed away before he was born.

On the 12th of August, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., the funeral services will be held at the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Instead of sending flowers, the family requests that monetary contributions be sent to the Meals on Wheels Atlanta organisation.
