“IS THIS TRUE? I am so appreciative and honored to be the first Mexican-Indian Miss Teen USA and the first Miss Teen USA from New Jersey!” The adolescent composed social media. This is the greatest night of my life because I was crowned in front of the people who have loved and supported me through everything.

“The class of 2023 is so exceptional. “Being able to stand alongside each of my smart, influential, and beautiful sisters has already made me the luckiest girl alive,” she continued. “I have so much more to say, but I want to thank everyone who believed a lady like me could triumph, who had a kind word to say or who thought of me this week. I’m yours, America!”

According to the pageant, Srivastava became the first Mexican-Indian Miss New Jersey Teen USA when she was crowned last spring.

Srivastava announced in an Instagram post earlier on Thursday that she had won the costume competition, donning an elaborate bee costume that paid homage to her youth and home state.

“THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! She wrote, “I am beyond appreciative to have won the @missteenusa Costume Competition!! “Thank you to my amazingly talented costume designer @simblas not only for this costume, but also for all his love and support along the way.”

The pageant was anchored by Justin Sylvester of E! News, and judges included the actress Emily Shah, the founder of Kopu Water, Mindy Mahy, the first Miss Teen USA, Ruth Zakarian, the comedian Kae Cazorla, and the model Tabitha Swatosh.

According to her pageant biography, Srivastava aspires to become a UN ambassador and has already taken steps in that direction through her work with the Lotus Petal Foundation, which aids underprivileged children in India.

Srivastava has, among other accomplishments, amassed thousands of volumes for the Bridge of volumes Foundation, authored her own book, and maintained a blog in which she documents her experiences as a woman of color.

Before being crowned Miss Teen USA, Srivastava, who is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and French, discussed her pageant experience.

“I am so grateful for this journey thus far as @missnjteenusa,” she wrote on Instagram. It has been a privilege to serve my home state of New Jersey, for which I am eternally grateful.
