What Happened to River Stone: Sharon Stone’s Brother Cause Death

Patrick Stone, the younger brother of Sharon Stone, has passed away. He was 57. According to TMZ, Patrick died early Sunday morning in his home state of Pennsylvania. A representative of the county coroner’s office stated that the cause of death was a sudden cardiac death resulting from heart disease.

Sharon, 64, posted a brief tribute to her brother on Instagram late Monday afternoon. She wrote “RIP my brother Patrick Joseph Stone” along with a dove emoji in the caption of a picture of the two of them hugging tightly.

Less than two years have passed since River, son of Patrick and nephew and godson of Sharon, passed away at the age of 11 months due to total organ failure. Tasha Stone, Patrick’s wife, announced on Monday that her husband had passed away, claiming that he had been reunited with their young son in heaven.

“It feels as though my heart has been torn from my chest. Patrick and our adorable River moved in together. He was everything to me, and I don’t know what else to say,” she wrote in a letter obtained by TMZ. Tasha stated, “I don’t know how life will unfold without my spouse by my side, and to be honest, I don’t want to, but I will.”

I will always hold you and our wonderful (and not-so-wonderful, but nonetheless essential) memories close to my heart, and I will revisit them whenever I recall them. Until our next meeting. “Honey, darling, you are cherished. “I’ve always hoped that River would have his father with him, and I hope the two of you are having fun,” the widow said.

Patrick leaves behind his wife, his “Basic Instinct”-starring sister, and their two other siblings, Michael and Kelly Stone. After River Stone’s tragic death in August 2021, the Stone family is still in the process of recovering. The “Total Recall” star posted a heartbreaking video of her nephew smiling while Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” played in the background after he passed away.

River had only been hospitalised for one week when he died of organ failure. Stone reported a month after River’s death that his organs had saved three lives. According to the “Casino” actress, the organs of her nephew and godson were donated to those in need. “Our family found solace in the fact that my godson saved three lives, including those of two infants and a 45-year-old man,” she said.

The mother of three continued, “I can only say that you never know when tragedy will strike your life or your family, but this option to be an organ donor saved us, saved our family.
