Saturday, around 7:30 p.m., according to authorities, Amtul Momin was last seen walking up to her vehicle at a Wendy’s on Seawall Boulevard before she vanished.

On Saturday at 9.30 p.m., the Galveston Police Department was dispatched to a Wendy’s on Seawall Boulevard, where Momin’s vehicle was discovered parked with her possessions beside it.

The Galveston Police Department stated that surveillance footage from the area revealed that the missing woman reached her vehicle before vanishing without a trace.

Multiple reports indicate that a search is ongoing for missing Galveston teen Amtul Momin, who was last seen walking up to her car at a Wendy’s on Seawall Boulevard on Saturday evening.

Concerned family members revealed in a Facebook post that Amtul Momin vanished while walking to her vehicle to change her shoes following a water ride. The discovery of Momin’s phone near the vehicle, according to Momin’s family, aroused their concerns.

Momin was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, according to her family, who spent all of Sunday distributing flyers in the hopes of locating her. The message read:

“It has been just over 24 hours since a Spring teen vanished after exiting the Galveston Pleasure Pier. Family and colleagues spent the day distributing flyers and conducting surveillance, but have no idea what transpired. She was last seen donning a shirt of navy blue. If you have any information, please contact the Galveston Police at 409-765-3628.”

While the online community, concerned for Amtul Momin’s safety, shared the Facebook post about her disappearance to help spread the word, a social media user announced that she had been located. However, neither authorities nor the media have corroborated the statement or provided an update on the case of the missing woman.
