The game’s footage revealed the characters that players would control and interact with, as well as the environment they would be immersed in.
As seen in the trailer, players will assume the roles of cunning con artist Kay Vess and her dependable Axolotl sidekick Nix as they plot the largest heist in the annals of the Outer Rim. Join Kay and Nix as they plunder, fight, and outsmart their way through the galactic crime syndicates in order to raise money for a fresh start.
Kay, our protagonist, can be seen wagering while being pursued by bounty hunters in the trailer. Viewers will see a space dogfight, a speeder pursuit, and blaster action as the trailer progresses. The trailers highlighted a new character named Jaylen who operates as a smuggler and is clearly inspired by Han Solo, as well as returning characters and creatures such as the Rancour and IG-11 combat droid.
Outlaws will be available on Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Ubisoft Connect in 2024, although no release date has been announced. The gameplay trailer will be unveiled on June 12, 2023, during the Ubisoft Forward event.
