Who is Mahek Bukhari: A social media influencer was found guilty of murdering the lover of her mother and his friend in a deliberate high-speed collision on a Leicestershire highway.

Mahek Bukhari, a 23-year-old resident of Stoke-on-Trent, orchestrated the murder of Saqib Hussain by a group.

On 11 February 2022, he and his companion Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin were killed in an accident on the A46 in Leicestershire.

Who is Mahek Bukhari?

Bukhari uploaded her first video to the Tiktok app in 2019, garnering over 130,000 followers and 3.3 million likes across all of her videos.

Her videos featured garment hauls, makeup tutorials, dancing, and lip-syncing.

Bukhari’s first public video was a clip of her mother accompanied by the phrase ‘hot parent check.’

Bukhari uploaded numerous videos of her mother dancing and lip-syncing to various audios between 2019 and 2022.

The caption on her most recent video with her mother read, “To the women who gave birth to me, I am so grateful.”

Her 45-year-old mother, Ansreen Bukhari, participated in the assassination and has been found guilty of murder.

Mahek Bukhari also shared glimpses of her life on the app, including a video of herself driving an Audi to Manchester for her friend’s 23rd birthday celebrations.

The final video that Bukhari uploaded concerned her false eyelashes.

It was published on February 7, 2022, just four days prior to the intentional high-speed collision.

Since then, no videos have been uploaded, and all comments have been disabled.

Raes Jamal, 22, of Loughborough, and Rekan Karwan, 28, of Leicester, have been convicted guilty of the same crime as Mahek and Asreen Bukhari.

Natasha Akthtar, Ameer Jamal, and Sanaf Gulammustafa have also been found guilty of manslaughter.

While Mohammed Patel was declared not guilty of all charges, he was acquitted of all charges.

Following the three-month trial, the Leicester Crown Court jury deliberated for 28 hours.
