YouTuber Ruby Franke Convicted of Child Abuse: YouTuber Ruby Franke, one of the most popular YouTubers in the United States, has been sentenced to one to fifteen years in prison for aggravated child abuse. She allegedly denied her children fundamental rights.
Six children were allegedly “regularly denied access to food, water, and sleeping quarters.”
Franke, according to Utah prosecutor Eric Clarke, subjected his children to an environment resembling a concentration camp. Moreover, authorities prohibited them from virtually all forms of entertainment, subjected them to stringent regulations, and isolated them from social interactions.

Media outlets report that the YouTuber tied, beat, and kicked the kids, deprived them of food, and forced them to work in the hot summer sun without protection.
Jodi Hildebrandt also received the same sanction as Franke. Both parties collaborated within the ‘8 Passengers’ channel.
One of the malnourished children escaped from their residence and publicly decried the situation, gaining international attention.

After that, in August of last year, investigators apprehended both individuals.
Officers discovered another of Franke’s ten-year-old daughters at Hildebrandt’s residence during the investigation. They both pleaded guilty, and the verdict was rendered last Tuesday.
The Utah Board of Pardons and Paroles is currently determining the mandatory incarceration terms for Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt.
