Alaskans will receive a one-time $1,702 payment from the state's Permanent Fund Dividend, benefiting 82% of residents, particularly during winter, to boost local economies.

1702 Stimulus Payment Eligibility: The Alaska Department of Revenue says that people will get their share of the state’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) and a one-time payment of $1,702 to help with their energy bills. This payment lets certain Alaskans share in the benefits that come from the state’s natural resources.

Around 82% of Alaskans will receive this financial assistance, which is especially helpful as winter approaches, offering support before Thanksgiving and Christmas. Commissioner of Revenue Adam Crum noted this is the 43rd year residents have received their share of the state’s resources, highlighting how these payments boost local economies.
