1702 Stimulus Payment: The Alaska Department of Revenue has confirmed the total amount for this year’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) and energy relief payment. Commissioner Adam Crum highlighted the significance of the PFD in providing economic benefits to local communities, marking the 43rd year that Alaskans have received their share of the state’s natural resources and investment earnings.

This year’s payment amounts to $1,702, consisting of a $1,403.83 regular dividend and a $298.17 energy relief payment. The amount has increased by about $400 from last year, with approximately 600,000 Alaskans eligible for the payout.

1702 Stimulus Payment: When will you get it

The following payment schedule guidelines have been released by the Alaska Department of Revenue: “2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in “Eligible-Not Paid” status on September 4, 2024, will be distributed on September 12, 2024.”

Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) payments will be made by the Alaska Department of Revenue in two parts starting in 2024. For applicants who filed online and chose direct deposit, the first payment was sent out on October 3.

People who sent in paper applications or chose to get a paper check will get the second payment on October 24. Applicants who are eligible will continue to get monthly payments as long as their application is still in the “payment-ready” status.
