2024 SSI Payment Schedule: When will you receive your payments?

In March, the Social Security Administration will be distributing a March check, ensuring that all individuals receive their Security Income.

2024 SSI Payment Schedule: Americans over the age of 65 with little or no income will be eligible for SSI benefits. The SSI is not the same as the Social Protection Income Benefits that may be provided to retired individuals. The SSI payment is $841 per month for individuals and $1261 for couples. To benefit from the scheme, interested parties must check their SSI Payment Eligibility 2024.

If you get Supplemental Security Income, your March check should have arrived on Friday, March 1. If not, you might need to call the Social Security Administration or plan a visit to the branch closest to you.

Will I receive my other Social Security benefits early as well?

No. Other Social Security benefits will continue to be paid on the regularly scheduled day because they fall on Wednesdays. Here’s when the March payments will arrive.

SSI Late Payment: Things to keep in mind for March 2024 payments

Social Security payments begin on March 1 for people who have been receiving benefits before May 1997.

March 13: Social Security payments for people whose birthdays fall between the first and tenth of any given month.
March 20: Social Security payments for individuals born between the 11th and 20th of any given month.
March 27: Social Security payments for individuals born between the 21st and 31st of any given month.
