According to the reports, the minimum wage for central government employees is expected to increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 following the increase in the fitment factor.

7th Pay Commission: How much will DA be increased?

Keeping the increase in mind, if your minimum monthly income is Rs 18,000, it will increase by Rs 720 beginning in July. Consequently, Rs 8640 will increase annually.

If your monthly base salary is Rs. 56,900, the July DA pay increase of 4% will result in an increase of Rs. 2,276. It will rise by Rs 27,312 annually.

Numerous states have announced DA rate adjustments for the upcoming fiscal year commencing on April 1. In these regions, salaries are determined in accordance with the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission.

Uttar Pradesh:

The UP government decided to raise DA/DR by 4% for government employees and retirees. Previously at 38%, employees will now receive 42% DA/DR following the increase.

Karnataka:

The DA rate for employees has been raised by 4% by the government of Karnataka. The state’s prevalence of DA has risen from 31% to 35%. A new tariff will be implemented on January 1, 2023. The state administration has also increased the dearness relief (DR) rate for retirees from 31% to 35%.

Tamil Nadu:

Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Tamil Nadu government increased the dearness allowance and dearness relief for thousands of state employees and pensioners last month. The government has authorised a 4% increase in DA and DR. The change to DA will become effective on April 1, 2023. The dearness allowance has increased from 38 to 42% in Tamil Nadu.

Haryana:

DA was increased in April for Haryana government employees receiving pay under the 7th Pay Commission. The DA for state government employees in Haryana has increased from 38 to 42% under the administration of Manohar Lal Khattar. In April, the announcement was made.
