Alaskan Residents to Receive $1,300 Stimulus Check as Part of Permanent Fund Dividend Program

The Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) is a permanent check that residents can receive to help alleviate the financial burden of high inflation and healthcare expenses.

$1300 Stimulus Check: It’s time to check your bank account if you’re an Alaskan resident who previously applied for the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) stimulus check. A $1300 Stimulus Check is scheduled to be mailed out today. Eligible residents will get their next payment on Thursday, May 16th, by the stimulus check payment schedule as set forth by the Alaska Department of Revenue.

Several states in the US are still giving their citizens stimulus checks and financial aid despite the COVID-19 outbreak’s continued effects on the economy. The goal of these payments, which include the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) given to Alaskans, is to lessen the financial burden that high inflation and healthcare expenditures place on low-income households. While some of these incentives come from surplus funds, others come from past tax returns or guaranteed income.

The Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) program in Alaska has made it possible for an additional $1,312 in stimulus check payments from oil earnings to be made today. Those who qualify receive annual dividends from the Alaska Fund based on the fund’s performance. Alaskans have been reassured by Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum that they will get a just portion of the income generated by the state’s natural resources.

California Stimulus Check 2024: Guaranteed Income Program with Stimulus Checks for Residents

According to the Department of Revenue, over 8,000 PFD applications were filed this year, making thousands of residents eligible for a fresh round of stimulus check payments. The state’s economy is expected to benefit from this program to the tune of $1 billion. The PFD, which has a $75.08 billion fund, plans to allocate 17% of its assets to infrastructure, lending, private income, exceptional opportunities, and private equity by 2023, with 36% going into public stocks and 20% going into fixed income.
