How To Earn AmTrust Bank 2% Cash Back Visa® Card Rewards?

According to the AmTrust 2% Cash Back Visa, every purchase can earn you 2% back. These points can also be accumulated (at the same rate, 2X on all purchases). There is no maximum amount of points that cardholders can accrue with AmTrust. The Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer, which also earns 2% back on purchases (1% back while making a purchase and 1% back when paying off the debt), is challenged by the card’s 2% back on every purchase.

How Rewards Can Be Redeemed?

The default reward programme for all First Bankcard products (who issue AmTrust and all NYCB family credit cards) is the BucksBack Rewards Programme, with AmTrust 2% Cash Back Card points serving as its currency. The rate for cash back rewards is ten cents per point ($0.10), which is the monetary value of points.

The following redemption methods are available for cash back incentives, which can be claimed in increments of 2,500 points:

  • Credits for statements
  • Electronic funds transfers via ACH to external or AmTrust checking or savings accounts
  • A cheque mailed

The BucksBack Programme offers a variety of alternative award possibilities in case a cardholder does not want cash back. However, the point value varies based on the real cash equivalent value of the selected redemption option. In addition to cash back, the programme provides the standard range of rewards, such as gift cards, products from premium brands, and travel (including hotels, airlines, and other accommodations).

The AmTrust Bank Cash Back and Citi Double Cash Card offer the same cash back benefits and can be redeemed using this method. The cards are different, though, in that AmTrust and other New York Community Bank partners enable cardholders to transfer rewards to external accounts via ACH payments or as a physical cheque. Citi restricts redemption to Citi accounts, such as mortgages and student loans.
