AT&T Settlement 2025: Who’s Eligible and How to Claim by Nov 18, 2025

November 18, 2025, is the last date by which a claim either online or in writing can be received.

AT&T Settlement 2025: After two big data breaches in 2024 that exposed sensitive customer information, AT&T decided to pay a settlement of $177 million. The March incident exposed a variety of customer data including Social Security numbers, birth dates, and account information of approximately 73 million customers. Besides that, in July, another intrusion went deeper into call and text metadata of almost all wireless customers of AT&T. Consequently, as the number of people impacted grew to millions, several lawsuits were initiated, and now they have been merged into one of the largest settlements concerning the telecom industry in recent years.

Who Is Eligible for the AT&T Settlement 2025?

If your personal information or call records were exposed in either or both breaches, you are most likely eligible to claim compensation. If you’re reading this in September 2025, you might still be eligible. Here’s how to check:

Eligibility: If your personal data (such as SSN, birthdate, email, or account number) was compromised in the March breach, or your call/text data was affected in the July breach or both, you’re eligible.

Overlap class: You might be eligible to submit claims for both breaches if your data was impacted by both breaches, meaning you might get up to $7,500.

Notice: A Class Member ID and the guidelines on what to do next are enclosed in an email from attsettlement@e.emailksa.com which has been sent to qualifying recipients. If you didn’t receive it, having a look at your junk mail or calling 833-890-4930 might help.

How Much Compensation Can You Get?

The money that will be given to you depends on the type of claim you file. Those customers who were affected by the March breach may ask for up to $5,000 if they provide proofs of financial losses, and the ones that were impacted by the July breach may claim up to $2,500. So, if you were in both breaches, you are able to file claims for each, which is a total of no more than $7,500. Additionally, there are different payment options for those who may not have a clear record of financial suffering. These levels are set up in such a way to allow compensation to be distributed fairly among the victims and those whose most private information such as Social Security numbers were released get higher payouts.

AT&T Settlement 2025: Deadlines and Important Dates

There is a strict timetable that holders of the settlement must abide by. November 18, 2025, is the last date by which a claim either online or in writing can be received. In case you want to reject the settlement and have the right to sue AT&T alone, then you must make a decision by October 17, 2025. The last approval hearing will take place on December 3, 2025, at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The distribution of money will only happen once the court has given the green light to the settlement and if there appeals are resolved. So, claimants are advised to wait for quite a while in this case.
