California 2025 Stimulus Payments: Payments Starting June 15 Under New Support Program

California 2025 Stimulus Payments: A few families in Sacramento County will soon start receiving monthly payments from the California government as part of a new program to  help people in expenses. These payments are meant to help families who are struggling to pay for everyday needs like food, rent, and childcare. The program focuses especially on those with young kids and low income.

The support comes from a special pilot program called the Family First Economic Support Program, or FFESP. It was created to fight poverty and give help to people who earn very little. The program will give $725 every month to selected families for one whole year, starting from June 15, 2025. The last payment will come on July 15, 2026.

Families had to apply between September 30 and October 13, 2024. That application period is now closed. But people can still visit the official site ffesp.org for future updates or possible new openings.

Who Will Get the Money?

Only 200 families will be picked randomly to get this help. However, not all families qualify. To receive the payment, a family must have at least one child under the age of 5. This rule helps make sure the youngest children are taken care of properly.
